Here are the best links to other Earthship sites:
The Earthship Global Website. This is the "big daddy" of Earthship
websites. It is the homepage for Earthship Biotecture in Toas, New
Mexico. These are the folks that have been nuturing the idea for the
last 30 years. Tons of information and tons of pictures.
www.touchtheearthranch.com This is Mike Shealy's llama and
tirehouse website. Mike lives in an Earthship not too far from us. If
you are looking for a tirehouse designer, I recommend Mike. Right
now he's working on a couple of tire-bale houses, check out the
drawings on his site!
www.gradyallengooch.com
New Mexico. A great commentary on the building process. Has
great pictures of the outside of Allen and Pat Gooch's "Nest" with
interior pictures too.
www.dennisweaver.com/habitat.html
Colorado. This is in Dennis Weavers personal web page. Dennis
weaver helped to increase Earthship awareness by building his in
Ridgeway, Colorado. It is often referred to as the "Earthyacht"
because it is so enormous.

process and some good pictures. Now there's a virtual tour that is
really cool!

Arizona. This is an on-line article by the Road Trip America
people. They visit an Earthship and talk about the house some.
There are some good pictures.
www.sundialvillage.com
Colorado. Sundial is a community of people commited to building
"earth friendly" homes. This is their home page. There are links to
all kinds of alternative building.
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ishmael.burdeau/earthship/home.htm
New Mexico. This is a long very interesting article detailing the
building of an earthship. It has much comentary and a good, albeit
slowly loading, slide show.
If you are interested in learning more about alternative building, you
might like to check out the "Earthfriendly and Self-Sufficient
Architecture" (ESSA) discussion group. It is a listserv but the
archives are searchable and the list members are very helpful!

This site belongs to Dave and Sheila Knapp, who are currently
pursuing their own Earthship. Dave has been of great help to many
people through the ESSA list, and I for one really appreciate it. On
his site, he has put together a very extensive list of links to all types
of alternative building, and tons of solar energy. He also has some
pictures of various finished Earthships on the site. Thanks Dave!
MISSING! http://www.earthstay.com/earthshi1.htm
This is a small site with some good indoor pictures. It appears that
this earthship is about the size of ours.
http://www.tnstaafl.net/earthship/earthship.html
New Mexico. This site belongs to an owner builder and is the web
site most like ours that I have found. Definitely check it out.
http://www.picturetrail.com/tggreen
This is the photo album of Tom and Gail. They are building in
northern Montana. Their pictures show some very interesting
interior finish ideas and a cement roof system.
http://caicosdream.com/build/eship.html
Colorado. This is a page in a larger site investigating various forms
of alternative building.
http://www.azecobuilding.com
Arizona. The Arizona Army National Guard is building an
Earthship, of sorts. It looks like a fantastic project! (And with the
military no less!)
NEW! http://www.genrefluent.com/earthshi.htm
A hut as a starter project then the building of a Nest. Good
